During the teaching-learning process particular focus is being placed on making these topics relevant to the current times by giving examples from day to day life.

Head Of Department's Message
Prof. Sajad Manzoor
Message
Political Science is a subject with multifarious dimensions as one can witness political activities taking place in the contemporary world across in the public-private spectrum. This is possible because of the increasing proliferation of Globalization and means of communication. Academic history is witness to the fact that a good number of students are opting for Political Science subject which besides others, helps them to prepare themselves for competitive examinations like Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS). It gives me immense pleasure to mention that I joined this Institution in July 2022 and found a good number of students interested in learning this subject. My focus will be to prepare students to be productive individuals with the clarity of thought and precision of action. Our goal is that the students should achieve the highest level of learning and training more relevant to the contemporary global scenario in view of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Also, we will strive to make this college a centre of excellence.
